Important Information
PTA Is a Tuition Centre,
Not an Examination Centre
Purple Tutoring Academy (PTA) is not a NAMCOL examination centre. This means we do not register students as NAMCOL candidates, and we cannot issue you a NAMCOL candidate number.
Students must first register directly with NAMCOL to receive their official candidate number. Once you have that, you are welcome to join our NAMCOL/Upgrading classes at PTA, where we will prepare you thoroughly for your examinations.
Step 1: Register with NAMCOL First
Before coming to PTA for NAMCOL/Upgrading classes, please visit the nearest NAMCOL office and complete your candidate registration. They will provide you with your candidate number which you will need throughout the academic year.
Step 2: Join PTA for Classes
Once registered with NAMCOL, come to Purple Tutoring Academy. We will take care of the rest — structured lessons, study materials, assessments, and exam preparation.

Class Schedule
Morning Classes — 08:00 to 13:00
NAMCOL/Upgrading classes at PTA are conducted in the morning, from 08:00 to 13:00. Each lesson runs for exactly 1 hour with no breaks in between, keeping students focused and maximising learning time.
First subject — structured teaching and guided notes
Second subject — exercises and concept reinforcement
Third subject — continued instruction and Q&A
Fourth subject — assessments and problem solving
Final lesson — revision, exam prep, or catch-up
* Subject scheduling and timetable will be communicated upon registration. Schedule may vary by term.
Saturday Classes
At Tutor's DiscretionSaturday classes are an additional support session organised at the Tutor's discretion when a student scores below the 70% pass mark in a weekly assessment, or when the Tutor determines that one or two students are not grasping the week's material. Only the specific students who need reinforcement are called in — it is not a general class for everyone.
If a student scores below 70% in a weekly assessment, the Tutor may organise a Saturday session for that student to go back over the material.
Saturday classes are not a fixed weekly requirement. They are called only when the Tutor identifies a genuine need — keeping sessions focused and purposeful.
