Teaching Ahead of the Syllabus

How We Teach
Three Ways to Learn at PTA
We offer three class formats so every student can learn in the way that suits them best.
Normal Classes
Conducted in a classroom alongside other students. This is our standard extra-class format — structured lessons, class discussions, and peer learning in a focused group environment. Ideal for students who benefit from social learning and healthy academic competition.
What's included
Private Classes
Conducted privately at the residence of the child. A dedicated PTA tutor visits the student's home and delivers a fully personalised lesson tailored to that individual's pace, learning style, and grade requirements. Perfect for students who need undivided attention.

Student Development Program
A special programme designed for students who may be considered slow learners or who perform poorly in their current grade due to knowledge gaps from previous grades. We go back to the root of the problem, rebuild the missing foundation, and bring the student up to speed at their own pace — with care and patience.

Saturday Classes
At Tutor's DiscretionSaturday classes are an additional support session organised at the Tutor's discretion when a student scores below the 70% pass mark in a weekly assessment, or when the Tutor determines that one or two students are not grasping the material covered during the week. These sessions target only the specific students who need the extra reinforcement — not the entire class.
If a student scores below 70% in a weekly assessment, the Tutor may schedule a Saturday session for that student to revisit and master the content.
Saturday classes are not a fixed weekly commitment. They are only called when the Tutor identifies a genuine need — keeping it focused, purposeful, and effective.
